Former Ohio State Running Back Beanie Wells has been sidelined with an sprained right ankle. Coach Ken Whisenhunt told the Arizona Cardinals Website Sunday that Beanie could be sidelined for the time being. "His MRI revealed a right ankle sprain, but at this point it doesn't seem serious, which is obviously good news," Whisenhunt said." In terms of missing time, its hard to say now, but we should have a better idea in the next couple of days." Wells, one of the last players taken in the first round of the draft, was participating in his first training camp when teammates "rolled up" on his legs during a pileup. Arizona expected Wells to challenge Tim Hightower for the #1 spot after they released star Running Back Edgerrin James. Most major analysts, draft experts, and NFL teams were worried about Wells' durability after a long history of injuries at Ohio State. Guess they were right to worry.
